The National Bureau of Statistics recently released news that in April, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 9.8% year-on-year (the growth rate of added value below is the real growth rate after deducting the price factor), 14.1% higher than that of the same period in 2019, with an average growth of 6.8% in two years. On a month on month basis, in April, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 0.52% over the previous month. From January to April, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 20.3% year on year.

In April, the added value of manufacturing above designated size increased by 10.3%; From January to April, the added value of manufacturing above designated size increased by 22.2%. In April, the added value of 37 of 41 major industries maintained a year-on-year growth. In April, the added value of textile industry above designated size increased by 2.5%; From January to April, the added value of textile industry above designated size increased by 16.1%.

In terms of products, in April, 445 of 612 products increased year on year. In April, 3.4 billion meters of cloth were planted, with a year-on-year growth of 9.0%; From January to April, 11.7 billion meters of cloth were planted, with a year-on-year increase of 14.6%. In April, 5.83 million tons of chemical fiber, up 11.6% year on year; From January to April, chemical fiber was 21.7 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.1%.

In April, the product sales rate of industrial enterprises was 98.3%, up 0.4 percentage points year on year; The value of export delivery of industrial enterprises reached 1158.4 billion yuan, a nominal increase of 18.5% year on year.
