1. Ring spinning:
Ring spinning is the most widely used spinning method in the market. Ring spinning refers to the introduction of the drawn sliver or roving sliver through the rotation of the ring traveler. The winding speed of the bobbin is faster than that of the traveler. The cotton yarn is twisted into spinning yarn, which is widely used in the spinning engineering of various short fibers. For example, in carding, combing and blending, the coiler is twisted by the bobbin driven by the sliver. With high spinning speed, ring spun yarn is in the form of conical helix with internal and external transfer of fibers, which makes the fibers intertwined inside and outside of the yarn. 2. Rotor spinning:
Rotor spinning does not use spindles, mainly rely on carding roller, spinning cup, false twist device and other components. The carding roller is used to grab and carding the sliver fiber, which can be thrown out by the centrifugal force generated by its high-speed rotation. The spinning cup is a small metal cup. Its rotating speed is more than 10 times higher than that of the carding roller. The centrifugal effect produced by the spinning cup exhausts the air in the cup outward. According to the principle of fluid pressure, the cotton fiber enters the air flow cup and forms a fiber flow, which continuously moves along the inner wall of the cup. At this time, there is a yarn head outside the cup, which leads out the fibers from the inner wall of the cup and connects them. In addition, the drilling effect caused by the high-speed rotation of the cup with the yarn tail is like feeding cotton fiber while adding yarn kneading to connect the yarn with the fiber in the inner wall of the cup. The yarn is drawn under the spinning tension of the bobbin, and the yarn is continuously output to complete the air spinning Process.
Characteristics of rotor spinning
Rotor spinning has the advantages of high speed, large winding, wide adaptability, simple mechanism and no need of spindle, steel ring and bead, which can increase the spinning output by many times.
3. Difference between rotor spinning and ring spinning:
Rotor spinning and ring spinning are new textile technology and old spinning technology. Rotor spinning is rotor spinning, while ring spinning is mechanical spinning. It is twisted by spindle, steel bell and coil, and drawn by roller. In the case of rotor spinning, fibers are transported by air flow and twisted by one end. Generally speaking, ring yarn has less hairiness, higher strength and better quality. The process of rotor spinning is short, the raw material is short, the yarn wool, count and twist can not be very high, and the price is also low.
From the yarn structure, ring spinning is more compact, while the rotor spinning is more fluffy and rough style, which is suitable for denim fabric, and the air spinning yarn is generally thicker.
4. Air jet spinning:
Air jet spinning is a new spinning method which uses high-speed rotating air to twist the sliver into yarn. Air jet spinning adopts sliver feeding, four roller double short aprons super draft and twisting yarn through fixed nozzle. After the sliver is drawn out, it is wound to the bobbin through the yarn cleaner and directly wound into the bobbin yarn.
Air jet spinning can produce 30-7.4 tex (20-80 British count) yarn, which is suitable for pure spinning and blending of chemical fiber and cotton. Due to the special yarn forming mechanism of air-jet spinning, the structure and properties of air-jet yarn are obviously different from those of ring spun yarn, and the products have unique style.
