Editing principle of yarn making
1、 Removing impurities
Spinning is a science that studies the processing of textile staple fibers into yarns. Yarns are usually made of many short fibers of different lengths by splicing and by twisting long continuous monofilaments. In the process of spinning, first of all, it is necessary to remove the impurities, that is, to carry out the preliminary processing of raw materials, also known as the preparation of spinning materials. Different kinds of raw materials, different types and properties of impurities, processing methods and processing technology are also different. The primary processing methods of raw materials mainly include physical methods (such as ginning), chemical methods (such as hemp degumming and silk scouring), and physical and chemical methods (such as wool washing and decarbonization).
2、 Release
In order to process the disordered and closely connected fibers into the smooth yarns with certain requirements, it is necessary to change the block fiber into a single fiber state, remove the transverse connection of fiber raw materials, and establish a firm longitudinal connection between the head and the tail. The former is called the release of fibers, and the latter is called the aggregation of fibers. The release of fibers is to completely remove the transverse connection between fibers, but the damage of fibers must be reduced as much as possible. The aggregation of fibers is to make the released fibers reestablish an orderly longitudinal connection. This connection is continuous, and the fibers in the assembly should be evenly distributed and have certain linear density and strength at the same time. Fiber assembly, also need to add a certain twist. The assembly process is not completed at one time. It can only be completed after carding, drafting and twisting.

3、 Open up
Loosening is the tearing of large fibers into small bundles. Generally speaking, degumming of hemp is also a kind of opening. With the opening process, the connection between the fiber and the impurities is weakened, so that the impurities can be removed and the mixing effect between the fibers can be achieved. The opening effect and impurity removal are not completed at one time, but gradually achieved by reasonable configuration of tearing, striking and segmentation.
4、 Combing
The carding function is that a large number of dense needles on the carding machine further release small pieces and bundles of fibers into a single state, thus further improving the release of fibers. After carding, the transverse connection between fibers is basically removed, and the effect of impurity removal and mixing is more sufficient. 5、 Combing
The carding function of combing machine is to use the comb to comb the two ends of the fiber respectively under the state of holding more carefully. Combing machine processing can eliminate short fibers and small defects below a certain length, and make the fibers more parallel and straight. Chemical fiber is usually not processed by combing machine because of its neat length, less impurities and good straight parallel state.
6、 Drafting
After carding, the sliver is drawn and drawn to a predetermined thickness. This process is called drafting. It lays a foundation for the establishment of regular connection between fibers. However, draft will bring short sliver unevenness, so it is necessary to configure reasonable drafting device and process parameters.
7、 Twist
Twisting is to twist the strand around its own axis, so that the fibers parallel to the strand axis are helical, thus generating radial pressure to fix the longitudinal connection between the fibers.
8、 Winding
Winding semi-finished products or finished products into a certain form to facilitate storage, transportation and processing of the next process. This process is called winding. The winding process should be carried out continuously on the basis of not affecting the production and quality of the products. Efforts should be made to realize the continuous production between the various processes, so as to reduce the quality problems caused by the winding process as much as possible. In a word, the spinning process generally includes raw material preparation, opening, carding, impurity removal, blending, drafting, merging, twisting and winding, and some of these functions are realized through repeated operations.
